By modern gondolas of Asitz railway you quickly go from about 800 metres (valley station) in 13 minutes to dreamlike nice slopes at 1.800 metres (summit station).

Hits for Kids
The Kids Bonus Card is a reduced ticket for children up to 15 years.
It is available to all guests with children at their hosts if the holiday is spent in the region for more than four days.

Cross-Country Skiing
Because of the location of Saalfelden in the wide and sunny basin in the midst of the beautiful mountain backdrop the cross-country skiers will find optimal conditions which make their hearts beat faster.
Since two years Saalfelden has been also a member of the associations Winter World Austria and ECCU (European Cross Country Union) which guarantees the cross-country skiing fans a high standard for cross-country-friendly accommodations, cross-country ski schools and ski rent.
